Friendly staff, beautiful place, great location, close to the beach, luxurious villa, pleasant stay.

There was nothing I didn't like.

I loved the hotel facilities, they were very clean and looked after. The breakfast was fantastic, with many egg options to choose from. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. Additionally, the hotel was in a great location, close to shops and restaurants.

All round a very quiet relaxing place to stay. Sandra is very pleasant and helpful. Very good for business purposes.

We were happy with our choice here because it's only a 20-minute drive to the airport and it's located next to the Africa Art Gallery, making Umhlanga a district worth visiting.

The staff was very welcoming and the accommodation superb - I have recomended this venue to be used as the place to stay for the company's business trips to Durban.

A Home Away from Home

We had a wonderful stay at a cozy guest house by the ocean. The peacefulness of the surroundings brought a sense of inner calm. The lounge, kitchen, and overall setup were impressive and made us feel right at home. The staff, especially the friendly faces, made our stay even more enjoyable. Although we encountered a minor issue with the room, it was quickly addressed by the attentive staff. The generous breakfast provided was a great start to our day. we highly recommend this place for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

There was only two staff members at this hotel, however they were excellent and very professional and provided superior service. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We liked the furniture and decorations and the hotel reminded us of a more detailed glamorous era. The hotel is situated close to the beaches and gateway shopping mall. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The style of classic with modern spa additional with the view to the ocean made a great impression to me.

The location was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to major highways and plenty of great restaurants nearby. the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. the breakfast was absolutely delicious, with plenty of options to choose from.

Sandra, the manager was excellent- wonderful professional service- noticed she did everything, including cook!and breakfasts were both delicious- she went out of her way to make our stay very comfortable- she was very hospitable and was informative about restuarants/activities in the area...thanks for the lovely stay

That there wasnt a buffet breakfast'-eg muffins,croissants, yoghurt, fruit, juice, 'would be better and more relaxed atmosphere

Cold rooms, needed the heater all the time

Traveling for a quick time-out, Valdior Guest House was worth it. The stylish room had a cozy bed and the bathroom was clean, no mold or dew. The WiFi was amazing with no buffering. The breakfast was fresh with diligent service. The location had a breathtaking sea view and the staff were super friendly. The spacious rooms had modern and antique decor, and the grounds were opulent and beautiful. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Beautifull hotel - 6 rooms - excellent service - exceptional rooms - certainly not your aveage hotel room!
